The poster "Attenuated Total Reflection Spectroscopy on a One-Step-Extract for Saliva utilized for Cocaine Detection" by Kerstin Hans, Michele Gianella, Matthias Müller and Markus W. Sigrist has been awarded the Nano-Tera.ch 2012 Best Poster Award

Cocaine sensing in the news
Our project Detection of cocaine in saliva was featured in the online magazine ETH Life and in the local newspapers 20 Minuten and NZZ. A short reportage was broadcast by the local TV station Tele Top (in german).

Michele Gianella was awarded the ETH Medal for his thesis Analysis of surgical smoke by infrared laser spectroscopy.
